The Pre-Marriage Course In-Person

The Pre-Marriage Course is a series of five sessions, designed for couples considering marriage, whether engaged or not, and wishing to build a strong and lasting relationship. While based on Christian principles, it is relevant and helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background.

The founders, Nicky and Sila Lee, have been married for over forty years and speak regularly on marriage preparation and family life relationships. They are co-authors of The Marriage Book. For more information, click here.

IN-PERSON COURSE

We will be running the course In-Person at HTB Onslow Square alongside the online course. Booking in advance is necessary, as we will have a limited capacity. Dinner will not be served, instead we recommend you bring your dinner with you, to make the evening really feel like date night! Why not make use of all of the wonderful food outlets South Kensington has to offer? We will be serving cold and hot drinks during the evening.

THE COUPLE SURVEY

We ask you to complete a questionnaire called the Couple Survey. The Couple Survey is completed online. The questionnaire will help you identify and recognise topics to discuss as a couple prior to marriage. Since training is required to interpret the results, we will not pass a copy of the report to you directly. Instead, you can meet with your Support Couple following the course either virtually or in-person over dinner to discuss the survey and any topics that it helps you identify. We will email you details of the questionnaire and a link to the website around a week or two week before the start of the course (if you register later than this, there will be a delay in receiving the survey).

If the changes we make are significant (not minor changes), we will offer you a place to attend an online course and to receive a full refund. Your cancellation rights are set out in clauses 5 and 6 of the Terms and Conditions. You have a legal right to cancel your booking and receive a full refund within 14 calendar days after the day we confirm your booking. Otherwise, if you wish to cancel your booking and receive a full refund, you must notify us not less than 24 hours before the start of the course. If you notify us less than 24 hours before the start of the course, you will not receive a refund.
