Christmas is a season for kindness. Since the Love Christmas campaign launched in 2020, HTB has reached over 25,000 people across London with Bags of Kindness. Over 1,000 volunteers across our six sites helped pack and deliver Bags of Kindness in 2021. This year, in the midst of a cost-of-living crisis, it’s needed now more than ever. We want to give London kindness and connection over anxiety and isolation, by reaching out to those that are struggling or alone this Christmas.
This December, HTB Church, through Love Your Neighbour London, is planning on delivering 8,000 Bags of Kindness. We need everyone to get involved to make a difference to people all across London.
There are three ways to play your part:

Our central packing sessions will be running at every site over the next few weeks. People can sign-up to help us pack pre-designed festive treat bags, write a Christmas card, or help deliver to people!

Help us fill these Bags of Kindness with treats, gifts, and crafts! These bags will go to Shelter guests, local prisons, refugees, asylum-seekers and others across London.

We will have gift packs of paper bags/ribbon/stickers at each of our sites on a Sunday TBC for anyone who wants to give a Love Christmas Bag to someone they know who isn’t on our list.
