We have been closely monitoring the UK’s response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the risks it poses to our congregations, event attendees and staff. We have taken the decision to cancel this Thursday’s (5 March) Classical Concert with Afternoon Tea for Older People and Friends. This is based on advice from the Head of the World Health Organisation (WHO) that those over 60 may wish to take extra precautions to avoid crowded areas, or places where they might interact with people who are sick. We have no reason to believe that there is any increased risk at present to the wider community, this is just a sensible precautionary measure.

We are aware that this will be disappointing news for many, but hugely appreciate your understanding whilst we work to protect and serve those most vulnerable in our community. Thank you to those who have already done so much to prepare for this event, your continued support is so highly valued.
